Here are three games I created: a trash sorting game, a farm tour game, and a snakes game. Each game has given me a deeper understanding and appreciation for game design. While designing these games, I realized that I was very interested in the mechanics and rules of the games. The Garbage Sorting Game earns points by correctly sorting garbage, which not only educates players about environmental protection, but also gives them a sense of accomplishment through the challenging nature of the game. The Farm Tour game, on the other hand, knows about each species by the player going to trigger a conversation with each farming staff. Snake games, on the other hand, add obstacles and food that increase and slow down the speed to the classic, making the game more interesting and challenging. I prefer to make games with clear mechanics and rules. I like games with a combination of linear and branching narratives, but my favorites are puzzle games that rely on player strategy and decision-making. These types of games not only entertain players, but also exercise their thinking skills. Players can expect to be happy and satisfied when playing my games. I want my games to be more than just a time waster, but to give players knowledge, skills, and thinking that can hone their reaction and strategy skills. What I want my games to be remembered for is their combination of educational value and entertainment. Every element of my games is designed to allow players to gain knowledge and grow while having fun. These elements resonate with me because they are not just a part of the game, but an important way to convey values and ideas. I hope that these principles and reflections of mine will continue to play a role in my future game designs, creating more meaningful and fun game experiences!
